My goodness which one do I make first? I’m sure they all are so tasty. I have a question that I hope you can help me with. I bake a lot and I want to stop using honey, sugar etc.. for my kids. Do you know if stevia is ok for children? I use it for myself but I’m not sure for my kids.
spoonfulofsugarfree says
Marcia,
I do not know the answer for myself, so I did a bit of research and found that it should be safe for children. Please make sure it is pure stevia, though. Some companies combine their products with additional artificial sweeteners like erythritol-check the ingredient list. You also might want to try starting your children off with small bites of the stevia-sweetened goods to make sure they do not react negatively to it. Hope this helps!

I’m confused about the carrot muffin recipe – it says One cup of Teff flour or sorghum flour, grated carrots and dates or raisins. does she mean 1 cup of the flour and 1 cup of grated carrots and 1 cup of dates or raisins? Thanks!
spoonfulofsugarfree says
Mary,
I believe she means 1 cup teff flour, 1 cup carrots, and 1 cup raisins/ dates. Hope this helps!
