Do you have any good movie recommendations?
Last night I watched Moneyball last night-very good. I recommend it.

Wow your on Day 24 already! You are truly an inspiration. I think I’m going to make your omelet for breakfast! Have a great weekend!!

The challenge is flying by wow! Crazy stupid love was great for a light hearted film. And although I haven’t seen it I’ve read (and LOVED) the book Sarah’s Key and heard the movie is great too.

So funny, I found a recipe for an omelet last night and we are making it this morning, can’t wait! BTW, I am modifying my sugar-free challenge just a bit as I am celebrating my birthday this weekend, however, I am being mindful of my sugar intake and who knows, maybe I won’t eat outside my sugar free challenge!
Happy Saturday!

The Help, Super 8, any classic with Gregory Peck, Katharine Hepburn, Audrey Hepburn, or Cary Grant. A Midnight in Paris was kind of good.
spoonfulofsugarfree says
Hi Suzanne,
I was actually looking at the Help or Midnight in Paris. I didn’t think the Paris one looked that good, but you think it was? I’ll have to try it! Thanks for the ideas!
Suzanne H says
The Paris one was different. I loved the idea of it and all the components, but I didn’t love how it came together. Then again, that might just be Woody Allen’s style. Give it a try, you might really like it.

Some movies that I have recently watched (and loved) are The Help, Life As We Know It, Soul Surfer and Chocolat. I hope you continue to recover quickly!! Hang in there!

Question-your crock pot chicken looks amazing but if I wanted to omit the wine and add something else what would you suggest? Do you think it would still be good without it? thanks!!:)
spoonfulofsugarfree says
Melanie,
It would probably be good without it, but the wine is what really gives it the flavor. You could try using a few tablespoons of a light-colored vinegar, diluted with water?

For something silly – Our Idiot Brother. Watched it last night & laughed several times. I really liked Moneyball too. Recently watched Tree of Life — loved it but might not be for everyone. If you liked Life of Pi, the book, you might like Tree of Life. Also if you liked 2001 Space Odyssey. Iron Lady is good. The Descendants is very good — better than the novel.
Making your slow cooker chicken today.
