Hello Everyone!
I know the holidays are probably making you busy, but if you can take a couple minutes out of your day to think about joining the New Year’s Resolution Sugar-Free Challenge, I would greatly appreciate it. I promised you all a New Year’s Challenge, and here is your chance to sign up!
I reviewed all of your responses from the last challenge and tried to incorporate as many of your requests as possible. Here are some of the changes I made for this challenge:
- Challenge lasts the full month instead of just ten days
- There is an optional “Break the Habit” period of one week where you can eat one piece of sugar per day in order to ease into the challenge.
- There is an optional exercise challenge for those who would like to jump start an exercise routine with simple exercises for beginners.
- I created a checklist you can print off in order to keep you motivated and on track.
Still questioning whether to sign up?

OK, I’m definitely considering it this time! I promise. I’m a little nervous about trying to do this AND start a new job AND move all at the same time, but that doesn’t mean I can’t.

Sounds great! I am totally off grains again but sugar has stuck around. This could be the kick in the pants I need. Thanks!

I’m actually starting a sugar-free challenge on my blog that starts February 1st, so although I won’t be participating in your January challenge, I will definitely be checking in and encouraging my readers {If I have any that is, my blog doesn’t officially open until January 1st} to come check your blog out.
I’ve never done a sugar-free challenge before, so this is going to be very interesting! I’m hoping to follow it up with a gluten-free challenge also.
Good luck!

For the spread sheet, could you make a google doc? This is a great challenge and I would participate if I was not already sugar free (and happy to be!) 🙂

Hi Phoenix,
That is what I was thinking….but I’ll have to look into it more! Can others “comment” on the google doc spreadsheet? Because I would love it to be interactive!

I’ve been following your blog for a while now, but I don’t think I’ve ever commented. just wanted to say that I love the fact that you do these challenges!! what an inspiration! I would join the challenge but I’ve already been sugar free for a year now so it wouldn’t be much of a challenge, haha! I do use stevia as a sweetener though, but in moderation, because I can’t eat fresh or dried fruit. I need a little bit of sweetness every once in a while;) your recipes are amazing btw!

I’m really debating joining! I want to, but I may have to cheat on my birthday and have a piece of cake.
