To the 7 of you who voted “Yes” in yesterday’s post, you were right on! It started raining just a couple hours after the picture was taken, and it continued to pour all throughout the day and into the night. As I look out my window this morning, the clouds hang over, it looks dreary, and it looks like it is going to be another rainy day.
To the four of you who voted “No,” well, you were wrong. To the two who voted “Ummmm…This is Weird,” I completely agree with you. Whatever, I had fun 😉
As much as I’d like to write a longer post, I need to pack because I am going to North Carolina! I’m not bringing my laptop, either, so I will get a few days break from it.
I encourage you all to do the same, too!
Unplug this:
Bake some of these:
Do some of this:
And just a little bit of this:
Thought-provoking, mind-prodding question of the day:

Safe travels!!! The weather here in NC has not been nice, but should be getting better!!
I try to take the weekends as my unplugging time, sometimes works 😉

Thanks, girls!!! Yeah, I’ve heard it has been quite rainy.

I don’t unplug as often as I should, but it’s nice when I can. Have a good trip to North Carolina!

Unplugging is always so great. I usually try to get all my online schoolwork done in the morning so I can turn off the computer for the rest of the day….sometimes I get too distracted by blogs though! Have a fun time in North Carolina!

I do the same thing! Get all homework done in the morning so that I can enjoy the rest of the day 🙂

I totally agree with you about the computer sucking up your time. I haven’t been on as much for that exact reason. I feel like I just want to hop on for a second and then I can’t believe where the time went! No thank you!
Sarah @ The Smart Kitchen says
Have fun! And yes, I love to take breaks…even though I usually blog on the weekends, I don’t generally READ blogs then, since I feel like I’m off and on the computer ALL THE TIME during the week.

YES. My job involves sitting behind a computer all day, and I find that I almost never turn mine on at home now, even on weekends.
And now I’m going to be dreaming of peanut butter frosting all day…

I LOVE having time off my computer. In fact, last year I gave it up (but 1 hour a week) for 9 months and loved it! I think sometimes we forget, it is a tool, not the answer!
The Teenage Taste says
Have fun in North Carolina! Enjoy unplugging!
I feel like I spend wayyy too much time on the computer sometimes, so unplugging is beneficial to me. I get so much more done when I am unplugged!
