High Protein Cookie Sandwich

June 18, 2011 By Alex@Spoonful of Sugar Free

Hello everyone! Did you have fun eating your vegetables?

Today is all about the Protein! Protein is a part of every cell in your body, so it is an important thing to include in your diet. Protein repairs tissues in your body, makes enzymes and hormones, and it is an important building block for your bones, muscles, cartilage, skin, and blood.

My High Protein Cookie Dough and Cookies are a great, tasty addition to your diet!

But do you know what is even better than cookies and cookie dough?

Cookie Sandwiches!

Take 2 High Protein Cookies.

Mix 1/3 banana with 1 Tablespoon Peanut Butter and small dash of water. Mix until smooth and spread between the two cookies.

Take a BIG bite and enjoy 😀

I have been loving this sandwich. The perfect post-workout snack. Perfect for anytime of day really! I made another batch of the High Protein Cookies to take with me for the tennis tournament I’m playing this weekend. Perfect.

Thought-provoking, mind-prodding question of the day:

What are your plans for the weekend? Are you going outside to enjoy wonderful weather (or maybe staying inside because of the terrible weather?)?

I’m waitressing a double shift today so inside it is for me unfortunately! But tomorrow will be spent entirely outside to make up for it, I can’t wait! Is your tennis outside in the blazing heat? Or do you play indoors. Good luck at the tournament!

Tah! Totally outside in the ridiculously HOT and HUMID heat! Seriously, I start sweating the second I step outside 😛

Today I went to a civic reception for the Taoiseach (the Irish political leader), and now I’m going to meet one of my friends for coffee for a proper catch-up. Otherwise, if I had no plans, I would be staying indoors to stay away from the terrible weather :(.
    That reciepe looks delicious!
Hope you’re having a great weekend. xo
