On the Road…

May 9, 2011 By Alex@Spoonful of Sugar Free

Hello everyone! I am on the road, so I don’t have time to write a post yet. Once I get to my destination, I will make sure to give you some updates. It’s going to be a LONG trip-3 whole days of driving. So, of course, I had to pack a whole bunch of food:

All of this is going in a big cooler. Apples, bananas, peanut butter (a whole jar!), raw crinkle cookies, Homemade Apple-Walnut-Cinnamon Instant Oats, pistachios, Smacaroons, Nuts, V8, and a loaf of bread for the rest of the family. I also packed a huge water bottle to help stay hydrated.

Book to read:

And I just downloaded some new podcasts off of Itunes. This was my first time downloading a podcast, and I am really excited to listen to it! There are so many out there.

Thought-provoking, mind-prodding question of the day:

Do you listen to podcasts? If so, which ones do you recommend?

Don’t Forget:

Hahaha this is why I love food bloggers. They make me feel normal for packing crazy amounts of food on road trips 😉

I sometimes listen to podcasts, usually just the sermons I miss at church!

YES! I download church sermons, too! Because I am always missing church when I am out of town and I feel so bad about it 🙁

I’m glad I’m not the only one who excessively overpacks snacks on the road. [Or while traveling via airplane…although getting through security in that case can be somewhat amusing. :)]

    Safe travels!

Yes! I do listen to podcasts. I especially enjoy This American Life, Ravi Zacharias International Ministries and Boundless.

    I love podcasts! And they’re free! 😉

My favorites are Nutrition Diva (you’d love it, too! I’m sure!), MuggleCast (that’s a Harry Potter one…heh) and Stuff you Should Know.

Oh, my Podcasts aren’t that interesting… I listen to the NYC MTA Subway and Bus Transit for information on subway changes… 🙁 But the ones that are interesting that I listen to are from garage bands that I like 😉 They have so many interesting podcast episodes and they make me laugh 😀
