Oh. my. goodness. gracious.
At Katie’s Online Bake Sale to help Japan, my Smacaroons sold for $96! Katie did such a great job with this bake sale, and she raised thousands of dollars for Japan! I can’t wait to make another batch of my Smacaroons to send off to the generous donor.

love coconut ! theres nothing like the smell or taste of it 🙂 and don’t be sorry! i’ve been super busy too, life gets crazy sometimes 🙂
that is awesome!!!! those ppl are lucky!! i wish i lived in the states so i coulda bid on yours!!
Congrats on having your smacks sell for so much! That is gonna be great for the cause! They look delicious too!
Coconut is my absolute number one flavor! I could live off of it. 🙂
I think I’m going to have to make those smacaroons pretty soon… they look so good!!
I hate Coconut! It’s actually kind of awful because when I smell Coconut it makes me nauseous. It makes me little depressed because I can’t make a lot of the recipes that you post 🙁
On another note, I tried chia seeds today. They are really filling! I haven’t made the gel yet, but I will try it out this weekend. And its all thanks to you!! I never heard of them until I started reading your blog 🙂
You don’t like coconut?! Oh no!!! So sad 🙁 My sister doesn’t like it either….You can try adding more almonds and leaving out the coconut if you want to make the smacaroons?
Congrats on trying the chia! Isn’t it fabulous?
Wow, that’s amazing! So glad the sale went so well!
Have fun at the festival, girlie! I’m jealous, I love D.C!
Wow!!!! Great job girl! I know your recipes are awesome, so I’m not surprised. 😉
Have fun girl! and yes, I LOVE Coconut! 😀
Have a great time in DC! It’s an AMAZING city if I do say so myself, course I’m a little bias…
That’s SO amazing that your smacaroons made that much!!! Congrats! And they look so yummy, I’ll definitely have to make some for myself too. 🙂

I have always loved coconut. It either began with a sip of a pina colada or a girl scout cookie. Or maybe it was a seven layer bar? Whatever it was, I was a changed person!
I love coconut. in fact I’m pretty sure I eat something coconutty everyday 🙂
Awesome job!! whoo whooooo~I DO love coconut. if I have to choose my fave choc candy bars, they’d be reeses cup and almond joy 😀 have fun at the C.Blossom festival! I hear it’s gorgeous~
LOVE COCONUT!!!
From now on, when someone makes you mad you can tell them ”
“You can Kiss my 100 dollah macaroons!”
Hahaha…..Yeah!!!! Great idea 😉
oh cool – that coconut oil is made in Sri Lanka!!! awesome 🙂
p.s. SO disappointed that someone over bid me on the macaroons and when I tried to bid higher it was too late 🙁
Oh I’m sorry 🙁 Thanks so much for the support, though! Maybe I will have to have a bake sale another time….or you can make the Smacaroons, too!
yes!! I should just stop being a lazy and make them – hehe!! 😛
I’m still not sure about coconut. Sometimes I like it, sometimes it disgusts me. On the “like” side are things like coconut macaroons, on the “disgust” side things like coconut milk in curries etc. So perhaps it has something to do with the overall sweetness vs. savoriness of a dish.
