Apple Pie in a Bowl

While your at it, make yourself a nice, hot bowl of Apple Pie for Breakfast.

Apple Pie in a Bowl

~On a cold winter morning, make this quick apple pie in less than five minutes. Then, sit by the fire and enjoy breakfast with Christmas music on!

Ingredients

  • One Apple
  • A handful of chopped walnuts
  • A sprinkle of cinnamon
  • A dash of water

Chop the apple into little bits. Put all ingredients into a saucepan and heat on medium heat, covered. Heat until the apples are nice and soft. Stir Occasionally.

Thought-provoking, mind-prodding question of the day:

If you had to choose either the crust of the pie or the insides, what would you choose?
I love the insides. Just make me some pie in a bowl!

I’m not a huge fan of pie to begin with but if the filling were to look like the one in your picture, I’d take it! πŸ™‚

By the way, I FINALLY got my hands on some coconut butter last night πŸ˜€ <3 I'll post about the first thing I made with it today and YOU from all people should check it out! *winkwink!

You can make this in the microwave too.

I chop an apple, dash of cinnamon, half of sliced banana, and heat for about 45seconds to 1 minute.

    Easy, smeasy.

That would be really easy, but I don’t have a microwave! Good idea for others, though πŸ˜‰

    ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh MY.

    yummy.

insides all the way. I typically skip the crust unless it’s a crumble than give me a fork.

Yum! That looks great! Hmm tough question, if the crust is graham cracker or oreo or gingersnap crust, then I’d choose the crust. Any other kind, I’d pick the inside.

That “Apple Pie” looks delicious! I need to make it ASAP!
PS -I would definitely choose the inside of a pie over the outside. πŸ˜€

I like both parts of the pie. I like the crust if it is a yummy, warm, home made crust. I think I will also add nutmeg to my apple pie bowl to give it an even more Christmasy feel.
